This large scale master plan for a new development in Vancouver laid out a series of 6 independent ‘villages’ which were designed around the preservation of an existing small township and a series of creeks and their protected riparian zones.
Revit Process
The entire 8 km2 site is captured in a revit model. Team members are able to add buildings via Rhino model which convert into revit masses that can then be evaluated based on usable square footage.
Another benefit of using the Revit as the base model is that we could use a printing plugin such as clarity to constantly output updated accurate base layers based on project data within Revit which the team used in their illustrations.
